Back in 2019, David Gaboury and Eric Matheson founded local legend company Masterson Paving as a direct result of their decades of asphalt paving experience and with dreams of becoming the best little paving company out there. Having lived in the asphalt paving industry for so long, we saw a gap in the market that no one REALLY catered to: residential driveways. Until then, everyone that owned and operated a paving company had one thing in common… they wanted to become the biggest “fortune 500” paving company they could as quickly as they could: starting paving home driveways and growing to large commercial parking lots and roadways as fast as they possibly could. Overhead quickly grows to enormous proportions that quickly rule out our neighbors as potential clients, adding significant cost with no value!! Enter Masterson Paving.
Seeing this quickly widening gap in the market, David and Eric threw everything they had at building a paving company with one thing in mind – YOU, the homeowner! Our business is local, small, and ready to serve for now to the end of the world. We have built Masterson Paving, Woonsocket’s favorite driveway company, on the solid foundation that everyone deserves to have a high quality, worry free driveway that they can actually afford without taking out a second mortgage! Guess what? Our strategy? Worked! Wildly successful – and as long as people live in homes and need beautiful place to park their cars, we will be in business and passing our work down to our sons and daughters some day.
Masterson Paving: we’re real, we’re really good, and we’re here for you! Being a local small business isn’t just what we started out as, it’s our end goal. Eric and I aren’t trying to be the next giant company built and selling for millions of dollars, we love paving driveways because it’s in our blood. Paving driveways is who we are. We’re not some AI generated, Adobe stock photography using, whispy dream of an online presence paving company… we’re a group of brothers who we’re raised on hard work, rough hands, a sweaty brow and a God-given desire to be the absolute best we can be at what we set our hearts to.
